Three Essential Jewelry Pieces For A Simply Chic Vacation

When it comes to vacation planning and packing, the things to prioritize are  simplicity and comfort. A great vacation, in my opinion, is one where I can physically and mentally relax while enjoying a new environment, and soaking up all the culture around me in as relaxed a manner as possible. I don't want to be bothered with any difficult decision making, beyond deciding between red or white sangria. An ideal vacation for me, involves adopting the pace of the culture around me, seeking out the spots the locals love, with some unhurried sightseeing sprinkled in here and there, and a heavy dose of reading and laying in the sun. Whether you're headed to Bali or Barcelona, a little pre-departure planning on what to pack and where to stay is of course necessary, but should allow you more peace of mind once you've arrived at your final destination.

I am here to help you simplify the selection of accessories to accompany your travel capsule wardrobe. Easy, effortlessly chic looks are the name of the game while traveling whether your destination is a balmy tropical island or cosmopolitan city. After selecting staple basics for your travel wardrobe, the next step is choosing accessories to complement any look. You will want to pack jewelry pieces that will transition from day to night with ease, and that layer well with any potential souvenir jewelry pieces you may collect on your trip.

I personally believe less is more, and that comes to my jewelry approach as well. I like to mindfully select a few beloved pieces to bring on my travels so that in the future I am reminded of my trip every time I wear them. The following are my recommendations for three articles of jewelry to bring along with you on your next trip so you can travel in style, simply and sustainably.

For starters, a bold gold hoop earring is a fool-proof classic that pairs well with just about anything. Sightseeing by day? Tie your hair up in a vintage scarf and throw on your hoops for a look that's timeless and chic. Keep your hoops on as you change into a cute little black dress then head off to dinner at a local favorite restaurant. The Gloria hoops have a secure hinge and catch closure to ensure they'll stay put as you move around town.

Next, a solid gold medallion necklace is a tried and true jewelry staple that easily stands alone or layers well with other more dainty necklaces. Pair with a flowy sundress for lunch by the beach or jeans and a T for a classic comfortable look at the museum.  The Sole Medallion is available with either a single black or grey pinch set diamond or a complete pavé halo and rose cut center diamond.

Finally, a classic gold bracelet like the Día cuff is the perfect way to top off any look. Wear with the opening on the top of your wrist to show off the subtle sparkle from the flush set diamonds. It's an easy yet elegant way to accessorize for day or night, and also stacks well if that's your thing.

And voilà. Packing for your next trip just got that much easier and chicer. Bon voyage!
